I am new in the world of seedbox. 2 days ago I subscribed for Seedboxes.cc batbox plan. Within 2 days I downloaded 131 GB of data to rutorrent, among them 50 GB I downloaded to my PC by filezilla. My traffic is showing now 125 GB.
Can someone explain me what is the meaning of "traffic" here? I have 2 TB limitation. Is it enough for a normal usage in a single month? Please somebody explain
A little bit confused how you have used less of your quota then you have downloaded.
From my understanding.. your usage is calculated as any traffic in or out (uploaded or downloaded), whether it's through your torrent client or through your FTP client. 2TB is plenty for any average user. May seem like common sense, however do not load public torrents on a seedbox.

@SD2007 The 2TB traffic you got on Batbox plan is ONLY for your monthly upload traffic allowance !
NOTHING to do with your downloaded stuffs..
EVEN if you downloaded for example. 10TBs of torrent files on your seedbox ( only the upload is counted ).

Yes. you will have enough. So the traffic is tracked to show you what you're using. The traffic isn't counted against you when your seedbox downloads something. The traffic is tracked if you use the plex portion but again isn't counted against you. Your upload traffic is what you should be concerned with. Uploading files to your seedbox from your PC will take a hit on your upload traffic. Uploading torrent files to other users will take the hit on your upload traffic. BUT - the beauty of the torrent world is you are not giving a user the entire file from your box. You are only giving a piece of it, or pieces rather.Quote:
