online storage >10tb
this is not realy a "seedbox" question. more an storage topic. the question is where do you store more than 15tb of data with low cost? of cause the data is from my seedbox and i want to keep them as long as possible
currently options for me:
* googledrive, maybe they lock my account, because of fair-usage ...
* aws / blackbaze / idrive / ... seems to be cost intensive
* dropbox is only 3tb of storage

Well I guess you already answered your own question/
1. Google drive is expensive, you need to pretend (lie) you are a business. You're always at risk of loosing your data because of they finding out the truth. Don't recommend it if you're not a business.
2. Expensive
3. Doesn't meet your space requirements.
So I would say get hard disks, they are cheap and by a shitload better than the options you mentioned!

some 6tb hdd's in th cellar would be an option, thats right. maybe an second nas/synology just for that kind of data.
but my home connection is not so fast. so i have to upload the stuff back to the seedbox just to reseed or fill an request. that may takes some time.
yesterday i saw https://hubic.com/ which may be an cheap option. 10tb for 5€ thats very cheap, but maybe there are limits on the tos.

From there (hubic) you intend to transfer to seedbox, PC, or any other location right?
-
yes right. big storage to drop files. when the seedbox is full. download the files again when some leechers apear. thats the case

just saw https://cloudstorageinfo.org/hubic-review:
CONS: Slow down/upload speeds
"The maximum download speed was 1.5 MB/s and 0.5 MB/s for the uploads. "
that is to slow
