    No one wants to upload?

So i downloaded a bunch of stuff to my seedbox, and seeding but no one wants to upload.
There must a be something smarter i could do to maintain my ratio instead of donating on a regular basis?

Try to be more specific. All trackers have different seed/leech ratios, free leech, 50% leech, etc., whatever. Generally everyone uses the basic seeding strategy but some trackers need to be attacked with a little more ingenuity. Like which tracker are you having trouble with exactly?

Well it's not exactly problem, but rather a question how to accumulate good ratio the quickest?
How do people manage to obtain 3:1+ ratios without donating?
Trackers are: CHDbits, HDBits and TheVault.
Chdbits has free downloads. So I got a few files and so far I see <1% of upload amount compare to amount was downloaded.
With HDbits its even lower. Same with Thevault.

These trackers are full of highspeed seedboxes. Upload fast or die.
It seems like you are new to torrenting.
    The basics:
Only grab the newest torrents (10min)
Old (over 48hr) and a lot of leechers is NEVER popular, because partial seeders are marked as leechers by the tracker
Be smart: don't start downloading an old 30GB torrent, for example. Build your ratio in steps.
Get an IRC autodownloading script (autodl-irssi for example)
RSS won't help you in these trackers, way too slow.
Try to download as many freeleech torrents as possible - nobody cares if you like the content.

Get a fast seedbox. 100MBps = nothing in these kind of trackers.

    I hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. I'll look into IRC script. My current seedbox got 1Gbps connection.

Does being among the first seeders gives you residual advantage? In other words if you grab file first will your box have some sort of priority to be "offered" as a seeder before latecomers?
For how long do you keep grabbed files before cleaning the space up?

download freeleech packs well you can find them on ipt and scc make sure you get them soon as they are released on the site then just choose to download a few of the movies from the pack as you are just wasting downloading them all then once you have the 1-2 movies from the pack downloaded let it seed and you will see it will upload back well and this will boost your ratio for sure

    1GBits seedbox /=/ 1GBits seedbox. A 1GBits seedbox shared between 4 is obviousy 100times better than one between 12 users(or 8 or 6)

No, but you can start seeding earlier when everybody is downloading.
    Better connection = 'more offering'

I can't really answer the last question as it totaly depends on your needs, your connection and most importantly your HDD space. Someone with 300GB has to wipe his HDD everyday, but someone with 1.5TB can also keep some older torrents for bonuspoints.
Keep torrents only if they give you a lot of bonuspoints or if they are hot (obviously don't HitnRun)

Great thanks, i'll look into it. I think right approach comes with experience and practice here.
Doe it makes any sense to limit upload/download ratios? I seen advices along these point but failed to understand why would limiting bandwidth could be beneficial?
