How do you download quickly from your seedbox to your PC

I am finding that trying to download files off my seedbox onto my PC, to free up space, is a very slow process. FTP downloads (even using multipart) only downloads at around 3-10Mbs (occasionally a little faster). I can use HTTP download, but haven't found a good way to do it. "Downthemall" works for individual files, but is still pretty slow. Free Download Manager is a bit faster, but it is a pain adding each file individually. Neither way allows me to download entire folders/subfolders.

Are there any better options for quickly downloading the files/folders from your Seedbox?

I know that I can setup Rapidleech on my Seedbox, but my hosting company does not provide the scripts to set it up, so I would have to do that manually, and I'm not sure if that would actually provide a good solution for my needs.

    Any suggestions?

It's not my computer. I have a high speed broadband connection and could download the the data directly in a fraction of the time. I also have 8GB of RAM. My computer is not the problem and Internet connection is not the problem. Newsbin, for example, downloads very fast.

Well, I found out that "free download manager" has a firefox addon that works with the free download manager desktop application and allows you to bulk download a whole page of links, and it works a lot faster than downthemall. I thought downloading through FTP would be faster, but it isn't.

Yeah, I have been using that for a few years now, but it seemed a little slow when I was trying to get large amounts of data off my seedbox. So far, free download manager seems to download much faster. From what I remember reading it breaks the files apart into separate pieces and then downloads the pieces simultaneously rather than downloading in a linear fashion. I had used free download manager before (the desktop version), and it was faster, but adding links to it one at a time was cumbersome, so I stuck with DTA. With the Firefox FDM addon, though, I can load a whole page of links, just like you can with DTA.

i find that filezilla or flashfxp are able to max out almost all internet connections from a seed box.

Ouch! That is like dial-up download speed. That has to suck.

I have a broadband cable connection, though, and that is slow for me.

I think that the bigger problem is that I don't think I was even downloading at the speeds indicated. Even though it indicated that it was downloading at certain speeds the progress seemed to crawl along much slower, or even hang for periods of time. I think that at least part of the problem was due to the seedbox provider. I switched to a different one and it seems to be much better.
