Help with recently bought seedbox
Hi all, I have recently purchased a seedbox and i was wondering what the best programmes are to use on a mac. I am currently using my web browser to add there torrents to the seedbox and filezilla to transfer them to my computer. Are there any other ways to make it simpler and quicker?
Thanks
P.s not sure if this is the right section to ask for this type of help request, so i apologise in advance if its not

@raynrach15 Moved to Seedbox Discussions.
Most of the seedboxes use web browser to add torrents .
About filezilla i use it for years and for me its the best and most stable for this job.

Thanks for the info Ill carry on as normal

I am also new to seedbox and tried every ftp client out there ...but at last decided to stick with filezilla..its the best

If you're not already using one you may want to look at add-ons for your browser which upload the *.torrent file automatically to your seedbox when you click on a trackers download link. You set up the plugin with your seedbox IP, password and tell it the BitTorrent client your are using e.g. uTorrent, Vuze/Azureus, Deluge, ruTorrent etc and then you are ready to go.
Check the user rating for the best one for your browser of choice. They have names like -
Bit Torrent WebUI+
DelugeSiphon
Remote Torrent Adder
Some Seedbox suppliers provide there own e.g. seedboxes.cc provide "seedboxes.safariextz" for the safari browser (as your using a MAC)

If you look through the directories (when using filezilla) you should have a "watch" directory, if you upload torrent files there it will automatically download them to the default download directory.

The only suggestion I will make is to use iGetter when downloading single files. It supports segmented downloads, the only feature filezilla is lacking, so if you find that your speeds are a bit slow I'd give this a go. If you're downloading folders or multiple files I'd stick with filezilla as the multithreading should be able to utilise most of your bandwidth.
