this is the only way that will make you download with your ADSL line full speed
hey thanks for the hint, i'll try... the drawback i see is that assume that the download will be individual files and not entire folder with all files

edited: speed has increased considerably in individual files (test with Hidownload Platinum)

well indeed pulsedmedia could download from http file, but is it faster mate? because like Fid said some could be continued with IDM but some can't o.O, and if it's can't, GB files that is downloaded will be useless

ps: through ftprush my downloads from pulsemedia have an average of 2,5 MB/s (10 MB total) on a 23 Gb single file, i'll try on multiple files...

It's a very strange thing kyomitsiro. There shouldn't be so much difference between clients. I'll think at something during the day and I'll reply here.

though Im not exactly sure what could improve your speed i use filezilla and that does max out my bandwidth limit sometimes...but not all the time. I usually just transfer several files at the same time through SFTP for security and leave them alone for awhile which seems to speed the process up a bit. Also you might want to research multi-threading. many FTP clients have this ability but many also don't and i believe it can make your speeds a bit faster.

Yes, you should try with SFTP. If this does not work, contact your ISP and ask if the FTP download/upload is being restricted in some way.
