Transferring seeding torrents from desktop torrent client to seedbox

I'm thinking of getting a seedbox but before I get one I want to know if it's possible to transfer torrents that I'm already seeding on my desktop BitTorrent client to the seedbox? Could I also transfer the actual torrent files as well so I can clear up space on my hard drive?

Yes you can but you should upload your files to seedbox using ftp/sftp and it will get your time depending to size and upload speed. If you dont want to upload them to seedbox you can download it again directly to seedbox but those will increase your download size in the tracker.

Okay so if I upload the actual torrent files to the seedbox will the torrents I'm seeding be added as well? Or would I have to reseed them somehow?

Upload the files, same folder and file names, nothing changed, into you seedbox's download folder
Download the torrent file from the tracker and add it to you seedbox
It should start checking the files, when it's done checking it will start seeding
