    AVOID CUtorrent!!!

Please do yourself a favor and AVOID CUtorrent at all costs!
It`s just a bunch of amateurs offering crappy services.

First of all their support sucks big time! It takes ages for them to solve a ticket and they address their clients in a rude manner with attitude.

I have a seed-box from them for two months now and every month during the same exact dates there is an outage of at least 4-5 days. The current one is still going on and nothing has been fixed, no news, no support just bullshit.

They are claiming there is an issue with a motherboard at the data center. Come one!!! 2013 and it takes 4-5 days to fix a motherboard issue?.

When you ask them what is the status and that something like this is unacceptable they just write to you "though guy, why don't you call the data center yourself and have them fix it sooner". This all can be proved with screenshots of the support tickets.

When you open a thread on their support forums they just delete it and hide it under the carpet.

More over they advertise false services which will come in the future bla bla bla, provide dates when the futures will be installed/released but guess what... nothing happens .

Again, just some amateurs trying to do business.

AVOID CUTORRENT! WORST PROVIDER OUT THERE.

    Thanks for the warning!
It seems about 95% of seedbox companies are a joke, that's why when I find a good provider I stick with them, better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

Try pulsedmedia mate, they are the best I have found so far.

problem with pulsedmedia is that they are on OVH, at least the 1Gbit ones.
My ISP has very bad peering with OVH and Evobox so FTP speeds would be 1-2mbit. My connection is a 150mbps fiber so I would like to use it .
Anyone here kindly to share the FTP account si I cand do a download test?

    thanks

I've never heard such a complaint, what ISP provider are you with?

And why are you buying cheap shitty seedboxes when you have a 150mbps home connection?

All seedboxes I have tried which were on OVH or Evobox had very slow ftp speeds.
I had good experiences with Ultraseedbox (Germany) and CUtorrent(UK Redstation) but they have to many outages and 0 customer support.

    I am on Cablecom, Switzerland

That's very strange as OVH data centre is in the Nederlands, your even closer than most of us, your ISP provider must be throttling the shit out of your connection, what kind of upload speeds are you getting with the fiber?

Well, upload is limited at 10mbps and download at 150mbps.
Upload is not a problem...it's peering issues with this two providers.
    Everywhere else I get 13-15 MB/s download.
I might sign up with Ultraseedbox once German hosted servers are available.
    Any other suggestions or recommendations?
    Thanks.

PS: i have done a download test with pulsed media(test file provided by them) and I get 600-700 KB/s max

Yeah it's strange alright, have you spoken to pulsedmedia about this issue?
I'm sure he's loosing money because of this then there has to be a fix for it.
