hi i have at home a nas server running Transmission the is running 24/7 downloading when i need to download a torrent but otherwise it just seeds constantly and i was wondering if this would be classed as a seed box as i have never used a seedbox before and wouldnt know what the hell im doing lol
Personally I wouldn't classify a server running on a home connection speed a Seedbox, usually it has to be a dedicated server with a minimum of 100Mbit connection, at the very least.
i was just wondering as i didnt know lol but it does me great with a 40mbs download and a 9mbs upload its better than the internet connection i was on befor lol
well i guess a 24/7 running computer that runs internet could b said as a seedbox mate
Close enough to be considered a seedbox for all intents and purposes.
