    XP Professional and Win 7.
8 or 8.1 do not even open DVD movies etc(!). Gates said, Microsoft no longer wanted to pay licensing fees to the companies owning the patents to the MPEG-2 decoder and Dolby Digital audio support required for playing back DVDs
When people got mad he claimed to choose this option to get Windows 8 cheaper. Of course Win 8 went then even more expensive. Typical.

XP had, somehow, a stability that I really enjoyed. Or at least we all know the work-around to solved its problem. Windows 10 is by far the worst since that time, every month I bumped into a new weird problem...

Windows XP was best for me - too bad it isnt upgraded. It was faster than other Windowses.

Windows 7 and Windows 10 have new features - so now they are acctually better than XP.

On Windows 10 I had to change the default awful dark theme.

    Windows 2000 best overall

Windows 98SE might have been the fastest running

XP had the the blue screen of death problem in the first 2 versions Microsoft said they fixed it in a newer version but I am not so sure
