Fujitsu and Microsoft have joined forces to integrate the additional technology of biometric identification of users into the Windows 10 operating system.

It's about extending the capabilities of the Windows Hello tool, which allows you to enter Windows 10 devices with a look or a touch - you do not need to enter a password.

As it is now reported, part of Windows Hello can be the technology PalmSecure, which allows users to identify by drawing the veins. Fujitsu has been working on this system for many years; it is implemented in state organizations, data processing centers, medical institutions, airports, banks, etc.

It is claimed that PalmSecure provides a higher reliability, rather than identification by the iris of the eye or fingerprints. Because the veins are inside the body and have many distinctive features, impersonating another person is extremely difficult, which provides a high level of protection.

PalmSecure identifies a person by means of infrared scanning of the palm veins pattern. The technology combines the convenience of a non-contact sensor and high reliability.
