Microsoft continues work on Windows 10 Mobile despite the fact that Windows Phone no longer seems to be a priority for the company this year, and now a new cumulative update is being tested internally.

As @tfwboredom has noticed today, Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.212 is evaluated by Microsoft in the internal rings, and although a release date is not yet available, the company could very well launch it on Friday or next week.
Previously, Redmond was never rolling out new builds on Friday, but cumulative updates could actually be pushed before the weekend because they are generally releases that include bug fixes and performance improvements, with reduced focus on new features. New builds as part of the Redstone branch are also expected next week under Microsoft’s new faster release cadence.
Certainly, the next week seems to be a much more likely target, given the fact that Microsoft is all busy with the Build 2016 conference this week. At this point, it’s not yet clear if this cumulative update is only aimed at insiders or it can be released to retail users as well, but the company could gradually ship it to everyone after allowing fast ring users to test it.
Details are very vague right now on this, but a new update for Windows 10 Mobile is undoubtedly coming sooner or later.
