    I use Kodi on a FireTV (1st gen). However since one of the updates by amazon I need to use the so called shitty version to get DTS passthrough to work.
    Also x265 files do not really play well. For the moment that is OK, on the long run I am looking for an alternative to run Kodi.
    If any of you have a recommendation it would be appreciated.

    Media player classic HC, it is very light weight and I like how it looks and feels. Vlc is great also but never really felt it like mpc.
