Are you running a proxy or perhaps using a VPN?

Try turning those off or maybe try connecting to a different IP.. then give it a go.

Well.. I would then suggest to jump on a proxy and you will be able to enter. There are a few programs out there that you can find at several Trackers. It could just be for some odd reason it is your location and it's areas IPs are blacklisted.. I don't think this has anything to do with TI rules.. It has more to do with the network/server that TI is hosting their IRC Chan on.

So, try a proxy service.. any proxy service and tell me what happens then. I think there may be info on the IRC entry chan about the blacklisting problem.. I'll check it out.

I hope this helps you out some what.

This is from the Networks Global Server Channel.. you can try it out.. your identity will not be compromised.. they are an anonymous organization as far as I know.

-Global- [Logon News - Aug 04 2010] Welcome to the 6667 IRC Network! Please understand that we use a Proxy Monitor and it might happen that you find yourself banned because you are in a blacklist or running an open proxy service. In this case, do not panic, but send us an e-mail to support@6667.eu and include your IP-address for more information or removal. Enjoy your stay.

Glad it all worked out for you! That's the most important part. Hope to see you around in IRC and help us to make it a more socially active and appealing means of user to user communication here at TI! The only thing that I can think of is the IP that you are connecting through.. must have been pulled from the Blacklist.
