Microsoft hasn't said a single thing about the release date of Windows 10, and the company has only provided us with a vague “summer of 2015” target for the debut of the new operating system.

But according to rumors that are swirling around the WWW these days, the late July 2015 release date for Windows 10, which was confirmed by AMD's CEO himself, is very likely to be accurate.

And if we are to trust what some sources are now claiming, Microsoft is very satisfied with the way development of the new operating system is going, and that late July date now seems very likely. Some say that Microsoft has even confirmed this date internally, but obviously, nobody can tell for sure whether this is true or not until we hear something from the company.
AMD says it's late July

Previous reports on Microsoft's planned schedule for Windows 10 indicated that the company was looking at June for the month when the operating system would be signed off.

It's hard to say right now if June continues to be Microsoft's target for signing off Windows 10, but a new preview build of the operating system is expected these days, so more information could arrive with this new release.

If June is indeed the month when Windows 10 gets the go-ahead, then July is also likely to witness the public appearance of the software. Older rumors claimed that Windows 10 RTM could launch on July 22, whereas AMD's CEO hinted that a late July release was also likely.

“What we also are factoring in is, with the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory buildup,” Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, said earlier this year.

Others, however, believe that Windows 10 would launch on July 29 or July 30, but in most of the cases, late July and early August are often mentioned, so these are the most likely dates for the debut of the new operating system.
