Before Windows 10 launches later this month, Microsoft needs to make sure that absolutely all of its adjacent services, apps, and products that are in any way related to the operating system work flawlessly with it in order to provide users with a perfectly stable and reliable experience when upgrading.

That’s why today Redmond has released an update for the Arc Touch Mouse app that makes it run on Windows 10 more smoothly and adds full support for the existing insider preview builds.

According to the official release notes, the new version fixes the compatibility issue with Windows 10 insider preview and the touch strip failure by restoring default commands.

In case you’re wondering, this little app helps you make the most of your Arc Touch mouse by providing you with more configuration options, so you can set up the touch strip to flip to scroll, tap to page up or page down, enable a vibration and configure its intensity and reassign the middle tap for a custom command.

Needless to say, this app only works with the Arc Touch mouse and requires at least Windows 8. It can also be installed on Windows 10 from the new store, and expect it to be available too when the new operating system debuts later this month.
