Windows 10 will hit the market in just a couple of weeks and the Redmond-based tech giant is working hard to make sure that everyone is aware of the upgrade effort that’s aimed at users of Windows 7 and 8.1.

Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella has already confirmed that upgrading existing Windows users is a priority, especially because Windows 7 has a market share that’s above 50 percent, and the new campaign called “Upgrade Your World” is supposed to support this goal.

With Upgrade Your World, Microsoft is calling out for everyone to upgrade their communities to Windows 10, and as you can see in this video, the company joined forces with several organizations with the very same purpose of upgrading more computers to the new operating system.

“We’re marking the Windows 10 launch by celebrating people and organizations who upgrade the world every day – and by helping them do even more. We are partnering with 10 global and 100 local nonprofits to help them upgrade the world,” Microsoft says.

Windows 10 will be free of charge for users of genuine Windows 7 and 8.1, and since Microsoft wants to bring the new OS on more than 1 billion devices by 2017, bringing all of these users on the new software is critical for this goal.
