Microsoft has just released a new update for Windows 10 Mobile’s Camera app that comes to correct some previously-reported bug fixes and to introduce new performance optimizations.

Microsoft hasn’t provided a change log for this new version of the Camera app, but as per the company’s new strategy, release notes are only offered in the case of significant update where new features need to be detailed.
As a result, it’s safe to assume that this version is specifically introduced to correct bugs in the app, especially because there were several reports claiming that the camera failed to work correctly on a number of devices that received the upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile, including Lumia 930.
For the moment, some issues continue to remain unresolved, but given the fact that Windows 10 Mobile has only recently been released for Windows Phone devices, it could take a while until Microsoft manages to patch all bugs that users find on all supported handsets.
As usual, the update is shipped through the Windows Store and if you’re using the default configuration, the new version might already be there on your phone. Otherwise, go ahead and get the new Camera app version as soon as possible and let us known in the comment section below should you notice any major improvements beside the typical performance optimizations and bug fixes.
