The Windows 10 store is becoming the one destination for everything designed to be used on the new operating system, so it provides access to apps, games, videos, TV shows, and starting today, music.

Microsoft has just unlocked the music tab in the Windows Store, so beginning with this update, you can buy and download songs and music albums for your PC, tablet, laptop, or smartphone.

The Windows 10 store will be available across all devices with a completely redesigned interface, so it’s now more intuitive, modern and fresh, so it’s easier to find the content you want faster. Microsoft plans to keep an eye on app quality as well, so scams and spam should no longer make it to the store if the company keeps its promise.

At the same time, the Windows 10 store will be the same across all devices and will provide access to the same type of content, with apps and games published in the store supposed to be used on all Windows 10 devices through the universal app concept.

The new store is already available in the existing preview builds of Windows 10 and will be part of the final version of the OS scheduled to launch on July 29. The phone version, however, will launch later this year, most likely in October.
