Microsoft itself rolled out several big discounts for its Surface lineup of devices, so it should come as no surprise that Amazon is also offering an important price cut for the tablet.

Right now, the 64 GB version of the Surface 3 can be yours for just $385 (€350), down $100 (€85) from the original price of $499 (€440). Amazon hasn’t provided too many details about this discount, but it’s very likely to be a limited-time offer, so hurry up and get it while you still can.
The 128 GB version is also available with the same discount, so you can buy it for just $475 (€430) from Amazon.
Although it’s not the latest Surface version available on the market, it’s still capable of running Windows 10 flawlessly thanks to its hardware configuration. The 10.8-inch device comes with an Intel Atom Z8700 2.4 GHz processor, features 2GB or 4GB of RAM depending on the version you choose and comes with the typical connectivity options, such as Bluetooth and USB.
New models on their way Certainly, the Surface 3 continues to be a great buy for everyone, despite the arrival of the Surface Pro 4, but it’s no surprise that so many discounts are now available. Microsoft wants to clear out inventories and focus on the new-generation Surface as much as possible, especially because new models are likely to arrive in the next 12 months or so.
Previously, it was believed that the Surface Pro 5, together with the Surface Book 2, could arrive in late 2015, but it appears that the plan has now changed and Microsoft wants to bring them out in the spring of 2017 together with the second wave of the Redstone update.
The company hasn’t yet confirmed this, so you should take it with a pinch of salt. For what it’s worth, a new-generation Surface is on its way and sooner or later it’ll be here.
