OK OK OK.. wait wait wait.
I believe in Windows.. I am a Windows Fanatic.. BUT.. I enjoy having full access to my computers System Files as I do tremendous amounts of coding and I usually run test samples on the very computer I work in and on. Here are my in depth thoughts.. as I have many I know.. just hear me out.
Windows based computers (the BIOS is pre-scripted with Windows) ::
1) PROS:
These computers are completely customizable.. they can be configured with literally an unlimited number of hardware configurations. It is much easier to Flash a BIOS on one of these systems. More and more programs are usually scripted with a windows "State of Mind". That just sums it up a bit.. I think there are many many more pluses.. but, it would be too much to read and I don't want to make this thread boring.
2) CONS:
Whoops! I thought I was a computer Genius until I deleted that system file!!! Windows makes this OS with no thought of human error.. thus, everything is open for those that don't know any better to just head on in and delete! UAC.. wow.. need I say more? That can be a massive pain.. BUT.. Windows 7 has refined this Feature and now it isn't much of an interference any more. That is about it.
MACBOOKs ... AND.. Their exclusive OS's ( BIOS, Board, GPU, CPU *usually*.. hell.. everything.. scripted JUST for MAC ) ::
1) PROS:
Well.. Just about everything is set up to run specifically for Mac. The resulting combinations are set up and configured in a way that complies perfectly with Media Standards! Going to be doing some Photoshop, encoding, movie watching (HD), web browsing and photo viewing and organizing.. and that's it? Mac is perfect for you!!! These are simply put.. some of the best Media Environments around! Another Plus is that the System Files of the Mac are closed and completely hidden from it's User.. "Admin" or not.. you can't ever screw with those.. no sir! Also, you can run Windows on a Mac.. but not the other way around. A program ran on a Mac called Boot Camp will let you have it.. Windows and your favorite Kitty! On one System!
2) CONS:
Well, I know for a fact that we don't call it the "Hack Book Pro" for nothing! They generally have a security feature that is systematically and completely automated by the comps settings and it's specified Cat. These settings can sometimes gain faults in their address lines and leave.. otherwise Stealthed in Windows.. Ports.. Wiiiiiiide open! Whoops.. you're being Hacked and have noooooo clue.. because yes.. Mac is soooo user friendly! They actually are pretty simple to use. They can be a pain however if you are so used to a Windows operating System. If you use Linux.. you will find no problem with a Mac.. they are built on the same foundations. And the Biggest thing of all. These systems are strictly Media Based.. all of them.. I don't care what you say.. Media, Media, Media. They are limited to the amount of configurations they can withstand. You could build a Windows System that will smoke a Mac.. in all Benchmark Tests you throw at it.
.................................................. ..............
There you go.. my humble opinion.. I have both by the way.. but I am far more in Favor of Windows. More for it's ability to upgrade.. Hardware.. not just the OS.
