Laptop Help
Hello
I just bought a second hand laptop and it's in a different language, I'm a complete noob when it comes to windows7 as I've used Mac os all my life.
Do I need to get a copy of windows7 again and reinstall it in English or is there another way?
Any help would be great
Thanks

have you booted it up and tried to change the language in control panel? start button[bottom left], control panel[right hand side, 4th or 5th up], click on the world with a clock on it, then same icon again but smaller, last option from there, that mite help you if i have described it right.

I click on a globe with a clock but there's no smaller icon after that?
It's in Lithuanian and I need it in English

I've been trying that but still can't get it, seen something about language packs need to be installed from other forums.

In windows 7 it's possible to just switch the language but you'd have to figure out how to do it in Lithuanian, it's just a couple mouse clicks to install the language pack. It's also quite possible that English is already installed.
Personally I'd flatten the hard drive and do a fresh install anyway. MyDigitalLife.info is the best place for untouched Windows images. I have verified the Windows 7 checksums and I just like and trust My Digital Life because of Daz, who wrote the DAZ Loader. Go here: Windows 7 Repository for a windows 7 image, follow the instructions, and don't forget about the DAZ Loader. And you don't have to install the traditional way with a bootable disc, you can also opt to install via USB.
