Hi all, i am having great difficulty joining a irc chat room on trackers. It keeps saying "your security settings have blocked an application with an expired or not-yet-valid certificate from running! I went into system preferences and added the web address to the java but it still won't let me access it. Any ideas would be great. thanks

What OS are you running and are you using IRC over web or client?

EDIT: Sorry missed the thread title. I'd suggest downloading an IRC client like Hexchat and see how you go? Ideally you should not be using Java with IRC as it appears your browser is blocking the connection due to security issues.
