it sounds like your ip is Dynamic, cause static doesn't change

maybe mate but it says static, is there any other way to check it?

ring your isp and they will tell you everything although if its static they wont change your ip address well thats what i have experienced from my isp they are useless, lol

Hehe i might as well try ringing them, although it may not be of any use, u're damn right about the useless part lol

Do you use a router?
Most of the time if your using a router when you switch it off at night your IP will change when it's switched back on.
The best way to check if your IP is changing is to check on your Pc, I'm not to sure how to do it on windows but on Mac just go to system preferences and click on network.
This will display your internal and external IP addresses, just check it the next day to see if it has changed.
I have a dynamic IP and it's has it's perks but can be a pain in the ass, everyday I have to log into my router control panel and edit my port settings because of the IP change.

on windows you just need to go in the run box type cmd and enter, then ipconfig and then your ip address will appear x

try this mate..
check ur ip with that website..
reboot ur modem..
check ur ip again with that site..
if your ip changes, then i bet sure u have a dynamic ip
the part though in that site where its says dynamic/static is unreliable
hope it helps...

Not true Luthor. Even with a Dynamic IP it might not change unless the computer is off for up to a month. Many dynamic IP address are "sticky" meaning they mostly never change but could a couple of times a year.
