How Computer Geeks can stay healthy ?

There is an old say - Healthy is wealth. Whether you are a serious computer user who spends long hours in front of computer or a passionate gamer who is known for spending hours if not days(seriously) in front of computer with his mouse and keyboard you all should take care of your healthy. Computing only requires brain to work and while sitting in front of our PCs we rarely show much physical activity since all we do is pressing the keys and clicking the buttons!

To take care of our health we should do physical exercise or any physical activity keeps us fit but this doesn’t happens in the field of computers, but don’t worry! In this article I will tell you about few best practices and tips which will keep computer users and gamers healthy while they use their computers for hours.

    Take a good position

Believe it or not but sitting incorrectly and in uncomfortable way for hours may result in severe pain soon after. Sit in the most comfortable and relaxing position on your chair, ensure there is no stress or load on your legs, arms or your back. Same applies for your computing equipments – Your wrist should be straight, holding mouse incorrectly or typing in inconvenient manner may result in pain

    Sit back and relax

In your childhood days you were scolded if you watch TV while standing or in wrong position and posture, you were asked to sit back and then watch the TV. Same should also apply in computer, a computer user must set his monitor in such a way that he is able to look at the screen while sitting back and in relaxing position on his chair. Your computer monitor should be slight above the height of your face. And also keep blinking your eyes in some interval of time else you might harm your eyes.

Water is life and water is healthy

A computer user to stay healthy should keep drinking good amount of water while working on his or her PC. Gamers should make use of “Pause game” feature and in that time should drink a glass full of water. Drinking at least 10 glasses of water will not only keep you healthy but will also maintain your beauty and will bring that shine on your face, so here you get double benefit!

    Don’t over consume

If you have planned to work in front of your computer for hours then do not consume fatty, fried and high calorie food since you are not going to use those lots of energy and calories while working on your computer because you generally don’t do much physical activity. So change your chips and smacks with fruits and you will get healthy soon!

A morning or evening walk is always good idea

A serious PC user to stay healthy should also take a morning or evening 2-3 miles of walk daily to maintain his figure. By doing this you are burning those extra fats and calories and giving your self fresh air.

So these were some of the best health tips which a techie computer user must follow inorder to stay fit. If you have some more healthy ideas, Dont Hesitate to Share Here.

Oh dude running is the worst. Having said that, i have a brother in law who lost 60kgs just plain running. He used to wear nothing but a garbage bag on to make him sweat harder. He's a very handsome man these days. Keep with it man, it pays off.
