    HELP burning dvds ive downloaded

Hi all , Ive downloaded them of btjunkie . Im trying to fit them on a 4.75gb and the burning software im using is power2go . It shows the disc space and it goes over to 6.5gb .

If i change the video quality to LP instead of smart fit it will fit but its recommended to use smart fit to get the best quality . Any help or better burning software would be much help . Thanks

Burning stuff is old school. Use your Xbox or PS3 to stream from your PC or NAS.

Are you burning to DVD to archive the films (to watch later via your PC and it's DVD drive) or are you wanting to burn them to DVD so that they will play in a standalone player (like the one sat underneath your TV?) You'd use different software and a different method depending on which you wanted to do.

PS I've just re-read the thread title. Are you wanting to shrink DVD9's to DVD5 size? What is it you have downloaded? Files with an .img/.iso extension or video_ts and audio_ts folders?

ConvertxtoDvd if you want an easy dvd creation software along with menu's etc, there's a portable version around somewhere too.
TMPGEngine is a little more advanced, not much though, still easy and imho really good for creating your own menu pages etc, is pretty fast and customizable.
    ImgBurn.. get this aswell anyways!

Try xillisoft DVD copy and xillisoft DVD creator. You can compress just about all your movie files to fit on a 4.7 DVD. DVD copy you can burn iso and compress to fit on 4.7 DVD also. Search around and you can proly get them for free .
