Sorry if you feel like all you’ve seen has been Ryzen 5 2400G content lately, but it’s likely one of the most anticipated launches in recent times. Suspected numbers started showing a few days ago after reviewers got their kits, we caught that one pretty quick too before it got pulled down. And yesterday was the coup de gras when crypto/techtuber Sonofatech got his purchased Ryzen 5 2400G in a few days early. To say this has been met with open arms is saying a bit much, it clearly triggered some people, but was really exciting to see some early performance numbers while he ironed out some issues and was really fun for people genuinely excited about the tech. If you missed it catch it here.

At this point he has finished up his review and agreed to let us share it here for our readers. I’m not extrapolating numbers from his review so if you want to see how things look right now you’re going to have to watch it. He’s included CPU, Mining, and Gaming Performance along with Power and Temperature tests. Also keep in mind that these are pretty raw drivers and after official drivers are released performance should be even better on the graphics side of the fence.
