Once again, the upcoming Fedora 24 operating system has suffered a delay in its release schedule, and for now, it looks like only the release date of the Alpha build has been postponed for a few days.

We reported last week that the Fedora 24 Alpha release was in freeze state, and it should have been seeded to testers on March 22, 2016. Apparently, that was not meant to be, as today, Fedora's Jan Kurik has announced the delay of the Alpha build of Fedora 24 Linux for a few days due to bugs.
"Release status of the Fedora 24 Alpha Go/No-Go Meeting is NO-GO," says Jan Kurik, Fedora Program Manager at Red Hat. "As in many countries there are going to be Easter beginning at the end of the next week, it has been agreed to plan the next Go/No-Go meeting on Wednesday, March 23."
At the moment of writing this blog article, the official release schedule for Fedora 24 remains untouched. We don't know if the Beta and final builds will be affected by the delay of Fedora 24 Alpha, but you can rest assured that you'll be the first to know if something happens in the development of the upcoming distribution.
Fedora 24 Linux is currently scheduled for release on June 7, 2016.
