Hi, I want to convert DTS to AC3 because my TV doesnt support DTS.

I dont have a problem with the x264 video codec. I only have a problem with the audio codec.

I have a file Tag.2018.x264.720p-DRONES.mkv. There is only a single audio track on that file: DTS. I want to convert it to AC3, embed that audio track and remove the DTS track so that there is only one track on that file: AC3.

I have tried Handbrake but that takes too much time and my laptop overheats. I see there are many conversion software. What is the simplest one with minimal CPU usage?

He suggested me a software but its too complicated and my PC overheats.

What do you use to play your media on the tv? If you have plex on the firestick you can always download VLC and it should auto recognize your plex server and you can use that too play the problem files.

I dont have a fire stick. I just connect my HDD to my TV.
