No I don't. I would really like to learn to code. I have tried a lot of times, but it's like i'm not really getting the hang of it, and just keep sticking to tutorials without making the things I really want to make.

I am self-taught in web design and the very basics of web development. This includes: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and beginner level PHP. Nothing compared to giants like C.

I strongly recommend that anyone try learning a little programming. I have a comp. sci. degree but have written absolutely zero code since graduating. However, the processes, techniques and mental models I assimilated as part of my studies have been invaluable in everything I've done since in my professional life.

I've even used the programming approach to write fiction, since creative writing and programming occupy kind of the same level of abstraction (at least for me). It lets me be incredibly productive - I've had a myriad of pieces published in short succession over the years, and I write new ones at a very rapid pace.

I program in c++, C#, very old html, some java, ruby (a long time ago), and that's pretty much it. I remember back when I was 6 my dad getting me hyped up for programming, then set me in front of a computer with visual studio and video tutorials and that was my summer. Ah, the memories.

I graduated with a comp sci degree. I know a little bit of many languages. I learn something new everyday and love it. There is always something new and exciting to learn or code.

I suggest anyone wanting to learn look at youtube. There are quite a few tutorials that are very good. Start with a language like Java or C++ and see if you like it.
