Started with python, and continued with php, js, HTML + CSS, SQL.
Now learning advanced data structures and understanding common algorithms for solving problems (using the site LeetCode),
and preparing for interviews for a job in the industry...

coding is easy, politics is hard

I started learning C++ on my own just doing problems on project euler. Wasn't even thinking about getting a job back then just wanted to figure shit out but ended up making a fake resume when I found out how much that shit pays. Way better than the construction jobs I did before.

Anyway, anyone who wants to learn shouldn't think someone who knows can just 'teach' you, it takes a lot of mental effort on your part. And don't settle for finding the answer on stackoverflow or wherever, make sure you know _why_ it works. Just pick a project, something hard and keep trying til it works.
