Digiarty Software Gives Away 10,000 Copies of MacX DVD Ripper Pro

Software vendor Digiarty Software has announced a giveaway for Mac users consisting of 10,000 free copies of MacX DVD Ripper Pro, a DVD/image ripper and conversion tool.

MacX DVD Ripper Pro lets you back up and rip any DVD movie and convert it to MP4, MOV, MPEG, and other formats for playback on any device, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Android portables, while retaining the original image quality.

How to get your free copy

To get the app, simply download MacX DVD Ripper Pro from Softpedia and launch the app. When the registration screen kicks in, open the giveaway page, supply a name and a valid email address in the two fields, then click the “Get it Free” button.

A pop-up window will appear displaying your license key. Copy it and paste it in the registration field in MacX DVD Ripper Pro (as shown in the screenshot gallery). Your app should now be registered and ready to be used.

Advanced users can employ the DVD ripper to adjust the decoder/encoder parameters and tailor output settings like video codec, video bitrate, frame rate, aspect ratio, resolution, audio codec, audio channel, audio sample rate, and more.

The Copy feature lets you back up DVDs in minutes and even retain the original 5.1 Dolby AC3/DTS audio channels. Digiarty Software says “It will produce a single MPEG2 file so you can store it on your Mac or USB hard drive, play it with VLC or Quicktime Player. It also features cloning DVD to ISO Image, backing up DVD to MKV.”

MacX DVD Ripper Pro does multithreading and multi-core processing, meaning you can rip and convert any DVD with up to 36x real time speed, batch-convert multiple videos, and ensure that the output quality is the same as the original DVD (thanks to the ‘High Quality Engine’).
