Best Netbook for multitasking and HD movies ??

    Hi,
I've been looking around for a netbook that can multi-task and play full hd content flawlessly, I came across the asus 1201N and 1201PN.
but would rather something with a smaller screen.
    any suggestions ???
    Thnx

What would be the purpose of getting a netbook if the screen is so damn small to watch HD content, you could watch regular content and probably not even be able to tell because the screen is so small and multi-tasking eh what are you tasking first of all?

Well i suppose 90% of netbooks arent meant for multitasking, but there a couple that can, and i dont need to run very demanding programs, just might need to convert videos while surfing and listening to music and instant messaging with a word/pdf open, something like that.
And i'd like it to be able to play HD content as i would connect it to my LCD for a better experience, but you're right, how can u watch HD on a 10 inch screen =p ...
think i'll get the 1201n - got dual core with dedicated gpu and decent battery life.

LoL!!! Netbook is not built for power / multi-tasking purposes. That's why they call it "netbook" simply for internet browsing, email, word processing (lite version - Openoffice) and other lite programs/softwares. But converting a video/movie ? You need a desktop or a powerful laptop to do this. Starting with the high-end video cards(dual or quad). Some "laptops" might be able to handle video conversion but depending on the specs. Buying a new netbook/laptop and convert a video will just exhaust your new baby! So I suggest buy a new/used desktop and dedicate it for video conversion purposes only. Your netbook will only be use for browsing and other stuffs you wanted to do except converting a video because it will burn and exhaust your hardware. Trust me and don't waste your money !

Alienware 15x is what I recommend if you have the budget. Their smallest screen is 11". Go to http://www.alienware.com/Landings/laptops.aspx It is expensive but worth it if you're looking for power when it comes to mobile.

If you go to a different brand make sure it has an HDMI port.

I agree, Alienware is awesome, bit pricey though
