Don't know the Russian is looking at me or not, but I know I'm not working for American goverment nor any government so I guess I'm safe! And there is nothing that they need to steal from me

Bit-defender trials are great, out of every anti-virus prog that is by far the best (i use 2015) easy on ram and does similar to all the others

Avast is the best but there is no big diff between free and not free

Kaspersky Cloud Edition. It's a free version, has a light memory and usage footprint, has the same detection engine as the paid model and you can opt-out of most of the more egregious privacy caveats. Used AVG, Avast and MSE in the past and I found this software a better experience. As ever with a personal recommendation from an anonymous source, your mileage may vary, don't believe anyone who says otherwise.

Switched from Kaspersky to Bitdefender a few months ago and couldn't be happier to get rid of all those ads and pop-ups ��
