Best Buy has Apple's HomePod, iPad mini 4, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch Series 3
Less than 24 hours after being formally invited to “gather round” for Apple’s no doubt jam-packed September 12 product launch event, where a bunch of new iPhones, iPads, and an Apple Watch Series 4 are expected to (properly) break cover, we're seeing Best Buy hold a big Labor Day sale.
While you can also score some sweet discounts on other types of smart devices through Monday, September 3, at 11:59 p.m. CT, Apple’s gadgets are unsurprisingly at the very top of the retailer’s list of limited-time and limited-quantity deals.
The question you obviously need to ask yourself is whether these markdowns are still worth it so close to a fresh round of iDevice announcements. For the most part, the answer is yes, as Apple doesn’t reportedly plan to upgrade the iPad mini 4, for instance.
The 2015-released 7.9-incher is currently available at a cool $100 off its $399.99 list price, although we’ve actually seen the iPad mini 4 go for even less than $299.99 fairly recently. The Siri-controlled HomePod smart speaker is up for grabs at $299.99 again after yet another $50 price cut, while select Apple Watch Series 3 models offer $75 savings right now.
We’re talking a full dozen variants of the world’s most popular smartwatch, ranging in (reduced) pricing from $324 to $354.
Last but not least, if you’re not particularly excited about the impending addition of Face ID capabilities to the iPad Pro family, last year’s Touch ID-supporting 10.5-incher can be purchased for a limited time at a solid $125 off.
The $125 discount is valid for every single Wi-Fi-only 10.5-inch iPad Pro model, including gold, rose gold, silver, and space gray 512GB configurations fetching $875 instead of a whopping $1,000
