    I use MalwareBytes, only software that would remove a virus that I got. I still use it and it works perfectly.

    awareness common sense and good practice are the best.
    there is a reason why linux users dont use anti virus.
    besides that the OS is more structurely secure ( not that there isnt viruses for linux )
    the users tend to know bit what they are doing.

    Avast. I have been using it for years now. However, I feel common sense is much more important than the antivirus program itself.

    The best antivirus would be my head, I always look what I'm downloading, don't open suspicious files, I'm very careful when installing free software, a common sense would be the best description. Doing that I don't remember when my computer was hacked last time, probably when I was a kid.

    my experience says its best when i dont have an Av software installed.. i just know where not to click and which sites not to visit and where not to download..
