    Eset Smart Security is best for me previously I used bit-defender but then it started blocking every application to access internet.

    Well I use avg and have done for a long time and just does the job for me sits there and picks up on any problems and takes care of it has nothing really fancy to it but does what i need it to do abit like my hair straighteners lol, did use to have avast but that seemed to slow my laptop down and give me problems with the internet for whatever reason x

    Microsoft Security Essentials is the best for me aka my use (as I don't usually dl suspicious files), it's free, lightweight and don't bother me with 'unnecessary notifications', etc
    Previously, I used Kaspersky and NOD/ESET, and they were well, too.
