I thinks Kaspersky does the job for me because they dont take that much ram compared to other anti-viruses and etc.. so i prettly much believe in Kaspersky and its a really good antivirus software

I'm using Kaspersky PURE 3.0 and it has worked perfectly for me.

I Like Bitdefender but found Kaspersky also good. Norton had improved lot on hardware resources use but it still do lag system if not updated on regular interval.
avast is the best
I have been using Symantec for years, free and running smoothly. But in parallel I use Malwarebytes to get rid of some additional malware and web spies
Avira. Free4ever and it gets updates constantly.

use a tnod for update settings! i use a Smart Security! in 10 years haw not a one problem with viruses! free antivirus is free..it is ok but it is a to much banner and popup stuff and is it not a 100% safe
