This App Lets You Import Microsoft Band Data in Apple Health
Microsoft Band offers cross-platform support, so you can use it with Windows Phone/Windows 10 Mobile, Android, and iOS, with the Microsoft Health companion app taking care of providing you with a closer look at the collected data.
But on iOS, Apple is offering its very own Health app that can already work with a number of devices, including its own Apple Watch; yet for the time being, Microsoft’s Band is not supported. So if you wanted to use the Microsoft Band and see your data in Apple Health, that wasn’t possible.
Until recently, that is, as an app that was published in the App Store comes with synchronization features for Microsoft Band and Apple Health.
Basically, what Band Health Bridge does is important data from your Band to the app, so you’ll be able to see graphs and information without the need for Microsoft Health. At this point, the app supports most of the features of the Band, including HR, calories burned, workouts, walking and running, cycling, and sleep analysis.
No auto synchronization features are being offered, so you have to manually import your data from the Band to Apple Health every once in a while. Additionally, it’s not available free of charge, but with a $1.99 (1.5 EUR) price, but that’s a small price to pay to use the Band with your iPhone’s default Health app.
