Earlier this week, Microsoft released a fresh new Preview Build to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring who are currently helping the company test the upcoming Windows version codenamed Windows 10 Redstone 5. But, nothing was released from the Windows 10 19H1 RS_PRERELEASE branch.

As reported last month, the company has also concurrently started to test the 2019 edition of Windows 10 with the help of Skip Ahead Insiders. However, no new build has been released for these Insiders since Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18204’s release on July 25, which was exactly the same as the Redstone 5 Preview Build 17723.

Considering the excitement of Windows Insiders signed up with the Skip Ahead program who are willing to test very early builds regardless of the bugs and problems they bring, it is a quite a delay with no new features coming their way.

Microsoft confirms: no new Windows 10 19H1 Preview Build is coming this week to Skip Ahead
Dona Sarkar, the head of the Windows Insider Program at Microsoft, has just confirmed via a tweet that no new Windows 10 19H1 (current codename for Windows 10 2019 Spring edition) preview build is coming today.

“#WindowsInsiders on Skip Ahead: as it happens early in product cycles, the build is not something we think should be rolled out beyond Selfhost,” Sarkar wrote.

“No builds this week, but we’re fixing bugs and will try for next week. Have a great weekend!”
If you have been hoping to see something coming your way ahead of the weekend, you can stop waiting for the announcement as you will have to wait until next week to get your hands on Windows 10 2019 Preview Builds.
