We have our first details for the third annual ESL One Frankfurt Dota 2 tournament.

The event, which ESL itself describes as "the biggest Dota 2 tournament in Europe," will run from June 18 to 19 at the Commerzbank-Arena. As with last year's tournament the prize pool is set at $250,000 USD.

Tickets go on sale starting December 17, starting at €29. Those willing to pay a touch more (€249) will receive free concessions, a nondescript "goodie bag," and access to the Secret Shop — a selection of Dota 2 merchandise usually exclusive to live tournament attendees.

There's also the "Aegis Experience" for a whopping €2999. This offers the previous incentives, plus a private lounge for you and four friends, reserved seating "in the heart of the crowd," front-of-the-line priority, and behind the scenes tours.

ESL One Frankfurt shouldn't be confused with the organizer's other German contest, the $3 million Frankfurt Major co-organized by Dota 2 developer Valve.

No participating teams have been revealed as yet. Though it's a good bet that last year's winner, Team Secret, will be invited back. Of course we won't know for sure until the 16 participants are "announced over the coming months."
