Heads Up For Pro Gamers ..

Sadly Xbox One Fightsticks Not Usable With Backwards Compatible Titles

A casual gamer would play a fighting game just with the usual controllers but a pro would want those fightsticks. That right there is a problem for all of you who are looking to play backwards compatible fighting games on the Xbox One.

It looks like the fightsticks that are used with the console are not being recognized as controllers by the BC titles, and that means you will only be allowed to play games like Skullgirls, Soulcalibur, USF4 and others with the usual controllers and not your Razer Atrox or something.

One of the users who has experienced the problem and was probably the first one to report it says that all those fighting games that are now making it to Xbox One backwards compatibility are not going to be as much fun as a hardcore fighting games fan would like them to be.

Figured this is fairly important for people to know, now that Skullgirls, Soulcalibur and (apparently?) TTT2 have been added to the BC list. It’s a bummer, but you can only play those games with standard Xbox One controllers right now – even if you have an official Xbone-compatible stick.

A similar issue might have been experienced if we were talking about the unofficial gear but many of the fans are going to hate it because even officially compatible sticks are not being recognized.

The Xbox One backwards compatibility is a major feature that has given a new life to hundreds of Xbox 360 titles, we are expecting Microsoft to fix this problem considering how many of their fans are using hte feature to play old games they love.

I am sure Microsoft will fix this problem quickly ..
