Microsoft has revealed the free games for the Xbox Live Gold members that are either using Xbox 360 or Xbox One.

If you choose to pay for the privilege of using Xbox Live Gold, for multiplayer, discounts, and other activities, you might also know that a number of free games are provided each month. Think of it like a subscription. When you don't pay for Xbox Live Gold, you no longer have access to all of these games.

Usually, the games provided to the users are not all that exciting, but that's understandable if you think about it. For some reason, the titles included in the March offer are quite interesting, and they definitely deserve a closer look.
"On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment for free during the month of March. Lords of the Fallen will be available as a free download from March 16th to April 15," it has been revealed on the Major Nelson blog.
The Xbox 360 users also get a couple of really good games, even if they are old. Supreme Commander 2 will be available until March 15, and Borderlands will be offered for free through March 31.
The most noticeable title has to be the amazing Lords of the Fallen RPG, which will challenge even the most patient of the players with its difficulty. Also, it's worth mentioning that the Xbox 360 games can also be played on the Xbox One version with the help of backwards compatibility.
