Vertigo Games has today announced that Easter is coming to the Oculus Rift-enabled online multiplayer underwater experience, World of Diving. A brand new Easter event is available to all players starting today, in addition to the reveal of a brand new playable area.

World of Diving is a new diving simulator from Vertigo Games which boasts support for the new wave of virtual reality (VR) devices via the Oculus Rift headset. This special event offers World of Diving players an Easter Egg hunt, featuring numerous eggs hidden throughout the playable ‘World of Diving: Stage 0′ area. Furthermore, players can unlock a special Easter Bunny headgear item, which can be claimed during the time of the event only.

Additionally, the underwater hatch in ‘World of Diving: Stage 0′ will be unlocked for the very first time, opening up an open sea area for players to explore during the Easter weekend.

The Easter event runs for the Easter weekend only, from 18th April 2014, at 3pm GMT (4pmUK time), until 22nd April 11pm GMT. The event is available to all players in ‘World of Diving: Stage 0′, the early access playable version of World of Diving that comes with pre-purchasing World of Diving for PC, Mac and Linux on the official website: http://www.divegame.net.
