Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: CEVO will host a Halloween Tournament

CEVO will be hosting an off season open tournament in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The ‘Halloween Howl CS:GO Tournament’ has a prize pool of $1600. The 2015 Halloween Howl CS:GO Tournament is an online tournament taking place on Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st, 2015. The tournament will be open to both European & North American CS:GO teams of all skill levels.

The tournament will include a total of 64 teams. Moreover, top six teams will be invited to CEVO’s Main division.

The total prize pool division for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive CEVO’s tournament is as follow:


  • 1st Place - $500.00 + Invitation to participate in the CEVO Season 9 Main skill division
  • 2nd Place - $200.00 + Invitation to participate in the CEVO Season 9 Main skill division
  • 3rd Place - $100.00 + Invitation to participate in the CEVO Season 9 Main skill division
  • 4th-6th Place – Invitation to participate in the CEVO Season 9 Main skill division


The format of the tournament will be divided into two brackets. Upper-bracket matches will be played in a best-of-three series while the Lower-bracket matches will be played in a single map game.

Registration for the tournament is now open with first-come-first-serve basis. The entry fee for a player is $5. On the other hand, the entry fee is free for the CEVO MVP subscribers. You can read further details about the tournament on CEVO’s official site.
