This week sees the release of yet another new virtual reality (VR) experience that lets users experience a seemingly pedestrian experience with an Oculus Rift VR headset. A develooper has released a new title simply named Fireworks onto the official Oculus VR Share beta. The experience can currently be downloaded for free on PC and Mac, though there’s no mention of a possible Linux version.

Fireworks simply lets players stand overlooking an expanse of water with fireworks going off in the distance. The title doesn’t have an aims and objectives other than to simply take in the sights for as long as you see fit. It’s similar in practise to the likes of the recently-released The Fire Place and other more relaxing VR titles which require the user to simply look at the environment.

A range of Oculus VR Share titles have recently hit the platform, including other similar experiences such as Horizon, while others focus on horror and recreating fan-favourite environments. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all applications of VR, reporting back with any more updates on new releases and more.
