The development team at Naughty Dog has been offering gamers more information about the development process for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End ahead of the title's launch, with a new video explaining how the PlayStation 4 gives the studio a way to create a bigger and more detailed world.

There are more than eight minutes of details about the technical side of game creation, and one of the most interesting specifics is that the space gamers can explore will be ten times bigger than in previous installments.
The game remains linear, but each level can be approached in a few different ways, with Nathan Drake able to choose his path across the world and the kinds of challenges that he wants to face.
Naughty Dog wants to make Uncharted 4: A Thief's End exciting and dramatic regardless of the road that gamers take, and in order to improve the immersion, the black screen between gameplay and cutscenes has been eliminated, creating a seamless player experience.
To enhance the narrative, the team has also used complex facial mapping techniques to make sure that main actors Nolan North, Troy Baker, and Emily Rose, who play Nathan Drake, Sam Drake, and Elena Fischer, are more interesting to interact with.
It is worth noting that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will run at 1080p in the campaign and 900p in multiplayer.
This is the final adventure for Nathan Drake Naughty Dog has made it clear that it is not planning to work on another Uncharted title and that the entire story of A Thief's End is focused on the way the main character experiences his final adventure alongside both old friends and new faces.
The plan is centered around an encounter between Nathan Drake and lost brother Sam, which leads to an adventure that involves the search for pirate haven Libertalia and the treasure associated with it.
According to Naughty Dog, the game will feature more emotional moments than any previous installment in the franchise and will ask gamers to think about what sacrifices they are ready to make for their loved ones.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be launched on May 10 after a series of delays, and the developers have already said that they are planning to launch downloadable content for the title that will enhance both the single player and the multiplayer.
Sony will probably then task another game studio with the development of future titles in the series, given how successful it has been on the PlayStation family of home consoles.
