Ubisoft have revealed the ‘Official Quest For Everest Contest’. They’re giving one lucky gamer to chance to play Far Cry 4 on Mount Everest. All you have to do to enter is upload a video of yourself telling them whilst your qualified for the trek.

The most interesting thing about this is that the trek to Mount Everest’s base camp is one of the most dangerous in the world. This is noted in Ubisoft’s extensive Terms and Conditions. Not only do they state that the winner will have to undergo a series of fitness tests, they clearly state that death or serious injury is a definite possibility.
THERE IS INHERENT RISK OF DEATH AND SIGNIFICANT INJURY TO PERSONS AND PROPERTY ASSOCIATED WITH THE MOUNT EVEREST EXPERIENCE (“EXPERIENCE”) AND BY PARTICIPATING, WINNER UNDERSTANDS AND ASSUMES THIS RISK.

UPDATE: Our good friends over at Neogaf have enlightened us to the fact that a Nintendo DS has already been taken up Mount Everest and lived to tell the story. It gives you even more reason to wonder why Ubisoft are even attempting this.
