Valve has just released a new massive update for Team Fortress 2, bringing a ton of balancing changes and support for the upcoming TF2 Competitive Mode beta.



Team Fortress 2 will soon celebrate its tenth birthday and the game is going as strong as ever. In fact, Valve is preparing to expand the gameplay by adding a new Competitive Mod that will definitely get a lot attention from the community. The company revealed that the first closed Beta is in the works and they are going to send invites.
As it was to be expected, the game client has been updated to integrate the TF2 Competitive Mode. users will only be able to try out the new feature once they receive an invite, which will be handed down randomly to users who have subscribed to the Team Fortress 2 Competitive Beta group on Steam.
Team Fortress 2 update has just landed According to the changelog, Mann vs. Machine Mann-Up victories no longer fail to take player tickets and reward loot into account, some security issues that occurred when loading certain custom content has been fixed, the Civilian Grade Stat Clock has been added, 25% resistance attribute has been removed from Mannpower, and all classes can now have up to 400 health in Mannpower update.
Also, Gift Wrap has been added once more, Giftapults can again deliver items to random players online, the Crusader's Crossbow has been updated, a LOD issue for The AWPer Hand has been corrected, three maps have been updated (cp_vanguard, pl_borneo, and pl_snowycoast), vote kick events now display that target player's Steam avatar, and That '70s Chapeau is now removed when the Sniper taunts.
