Another classic franchise is entering the fray on Nintendo Switch with Super Smash Bros. Announced in early 2018 as a surprise at the end of a Nintendo Direct presentation, Super Smash Bros. for Switch has been one of the company's most anticipated games. The last Super Smash Bros. released back on the Wii U and the 3DS in 2014. The Wii U version was well-received, but since it was on the Wii U, hardly anyone played it. With the Nintendo Switch churning out record sales numbers, already outselling the Wii U, the hope is that Smash Bros will do much better commercially this time around.

Until recently, there was little known about Super Smash Bros. for the Switch. Although there were rumors that it was an all-new game with an even larger cast than the Wii U version, the report have all been unsubstantiated. Now, with the release of the full trailer for Smash Smash Bros. for Switch, various details about the fighting game have been confirmed.

The full trailer for Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch was unveiled during Nintendo's E3 2018 Direct presentation this morning, which debunks and confirms several of the rumors that surrounded the title. The trailer can be viewed in the section above.
